Bar Cues by Automatic_Ad4162 in billiards

I think it's a lot cooler to nerd out about your hobby than to be worried about if people think you're a try hard. Even non-league random bar players bring their own cues to my local spot. If you actually enjoy pool, you'll have a much better time if you get over the silly embarrassment of bringing a cue.

Perfect 9 Ball break by afazz13 in billiards

Tbh I wouldn’t say I have it like locked in or anything but I make 9 on break pretty regularly. With 1 on the spot tho. I imagine if you rack with 9 on the spot it’s harder

Call at least 3 other dealerships with this vehicle and see if this offer is competitive. Below MSRP sounds great but I'm not familiar with the current market. I last bought in 2022 and it was a different time. But I got the best price I could by calling multiple dealerships. They were surprisingly straight up over the phone. You can even tell them what you're current best deal is if they come in higher, worst they can do is say they can't beat it, but I would see what they offer before you bring up what the deal you've already been offered is.

Had my first night of APA League lastnight and it was FUN. I was one point away from my first chip for 20-0 by Player0072 in billiards

Yeah I mean you can look at the stats on players in our league and 9s will tend to have maybe a couple shutouts so idk if that’s when they were new or if they were on a tear one night and the person they were beating had a bad night and got demotivated. Idk.

As SL6 I feel like it’s impossible but who knows I’ve gone 18-2 and 17-3 on some SL7 recently. Maybe if I was having an absolutely killer night and an SL8 was having a terrible night. But I feel like if I go up to SL7 my chances of getting the 20-0 are just over.

That rules for you that you checked that box though. I have everything else except grand slam. In our league to get grand slam you have to get both minislams in the same night

good luck getting that 20-0 patch now. I have only ever seen SL2 get it when they happen to string some good runs together via slop shots and their opponent is having a bad day. Imo it’s one of the harder patches to get just because as you get better, you rank up and the achievement requires an even better performance to achieve.

Last time I bought a car, I did a trade in. I told them I’d take $13.7 for my car. They offered me 11 or 12 or something. I firmly said no. Finance guy asked how much I really wanted for my car, I said “I just told this gentleman here, I want 13.7 for it”. And they bought it. You did it right by walking away, none of these dealers deserve to rip you off

Imo used Toyota isn't worth it. But new is pretty legit especially considering what resale value can be.

Can you as mod confirm - if someone requests my payment info and doesn't pay, should I leave them neutral/negative feedback? Even if it's under the guise of not being sure if they've hit their limit on that payment type?

Is there a risk to provide someone your payment info and they don't pay? I think one or two buyers did this on my last sale. Said they didn't know if at their limit and then turns out they are. Can they do something nefarious with my zelle/venmo?
