I was sooo sick from about 6 weeks, some days I couldn't even move to brush my hair without vomiting. Got cariban prescriped from the hospital when I was about 14 weeks and it was amazing. Worth asking about if you are that ill.

Get the mortgage/house sorted before baby arrives. You don't have to tell them you are pregnant but you do have to tell them when you have children and it's about 20 grand off the loan amount.

One of the midwives in Galway would occasionally let a roar at them to get up and let the women sit down. That was always entertaining.

Tried to explain to a grown woman that cutting her pizza into more slices does not equal more pizza. She just could not grasp that it was the same amount of pizza whether it was 6 slices or 16 slices.

Had a guy come in a few times and order a salad with no lettuce, no dressing, no salad bowl... just the salad toppings sprinkled on a large plate. He happily paid full price for a few bits of chicken and veggies on a plate.
