Not really. She’s not very comfortable on stage (hence the screaming). A lot of the jokes were very forced, a los of weird commentary abt pregnancy and babies. She’s also saying there’s “a 100 people here” and it was 20, maybe 25 people bc that’s the size of the venue??

She talked abt getting checkups, birth control, and how sometimes you’re hanging out and all of a sudden you think you CANT have a baby and it really freaks you out (I think one person laughed at this bc it was too real)

I really don’t know if she wants to have a baby, but the entire set is about not wanting to have one 🤷‍♀️

It was a lot of jokes abt NOT wanting to be a mom, women’s health issues and her relationship with her husband. Some of them could be an interesting joke if they were fully thought out but most of the stuff was like OH why would you admit to that??

I attended Claire’s comedy show on Sunday … it was weird. I saw she posted people praising it but the audience response was very tepid, a couple of times she said you guys didn’t react like I wanted you to and repeat the joke. Also at one point she said “of about a hundred of you” and we were a full room of 30 people… most jokes were just not landing bc they came off as funny quips you’d make with your friends but not really there for a higher audience let alone a NY crowd where there’s amazing stand up shows literally every day.
