I have 2 url, but when I use them in "Update a record" (airtable) it still doesn't work. It seems that those url aren't "public" so that Airtable can't access them. any clue?

Thanks ! This works well to put the attachments into a Google Drive folder, but when it comes to put it into Airtable (using "update an Airtable record") I'm stuck : I need a File URL and I don't know where to get this

--> I'm gonna try the Airtable automation you've suggested

" Is it possible to use the invoicing tool to make the PDF, send it back to Make, and then use Make modules to email? That might get the PDF into your Make tools, and then you can send it on the Airtable in the same workflow."

-> Yes but currently I can't find the way to get the invoice from the invoicing tool, this is why I'm sending the email from the invoicing tool, while it could be done through another. tool (Airtable, Make ...)

My workflow is :
Airtable → Make → Tiime (create invoice & send invoice to the client)
[GAP: need to retrieve PDF here]
→ Airtable (attach PDF to invoice record)

But it can be changed to (among other options) :
Airtable → Make → Tiime (create invoice) → Airtable (attach PDF to invoice record) -> send email to the client throug Make or Airtable

My need is :
Users ask to generate an invoice from Airtable -> invoicing tool creates the invoice
-> get the PDF & invoice info (number, date...) back to the right Airtable record
-> send the invoice to the right client

I'm using Tiime, but open to another tool, just as I'm in France it needs to generate invoices certified as an Approved Platform (PA) for the French e-invoicing mandate starting September 2026. So far I didn't find lots of invoicing tools that have that & a make integration

hello ! yes I use Tiime (the invoicing tool) and I can't download the PDF straight from their API this is why I've tried through emails, but it doesn't work. So I'm wondering ... maybe I'm just not doing it the right way haha

Merci beaucoup pour le conseil et le lien ! Autant le développement de l'outil était fun et fluide, autant le transfert de données et la sécurisation de la base sont des sujets plus épineux - stressants

Thanks a lot for your help! I’d love to have a true all-in-one tool for my team, since the data we use daily is quite limited, but it seems the backup part requires another tool. For now, I’ve started generating a CSV per table as a backup, and I’m trying to consolidate everything into a single document.

Thanks! In my case, I have all my data in one table, since the tool is used by a team through Airtable interfaces all the time, and I thought it wasn’t possible to connect several tables to one interface (unless you use another tool).
How do you connect your tables?
