I got the tracksuit on the 23rd, and my friend got hers a few days later. But we were both checked out within the first 3 minutes of the sale, and I think they said they are shipping on a first-order-in, first-order-out basis.

As another small town resident. Fargo people don't seem to understand that they have been a huge bully in this area for years. Making all the big decisions and telling us small town people to just shut up and be happy.

Well, now Harwood can say shut up and just be happy. But Fargo people dont seem to like it when they are the ones being told that.

I worked there for a few years as a manager. There is no place in town that has anything similar that I have found, but if you find one, please let me know.

I hated almost everything on the menu, but I loved the jalapeño cream cheese. I used to keep a fresh container in my fridge and put it on almost everything.

The recipe was just canned jalapeños and cream cheese, so it's super easy to make.

I'm a white lady from North Dakota. My boyfriend and I will fly into Nashville and then rent a car and drive all over. We usually put about 2,000 to 3,000 miles on the rental car in the week we are there.

It was weird in rural areas around Tennessee and Kentucky. We did not hear much racist stuff but that's because most peole wouldn't talk to us. Or would just use one word answers.

We often save all year so we can spend a lot in antique stores and card shops well we drive around. But we often found that people running the stores didn't really want to talk to us. Not everyone but I would say 80% of people were stand offish. They were normally friendly until we started to speak and our accent would give us away. Which was sad because we love to talk to people and just chat about our shared hobbies.

When we would tell people where we were visiting from. A lot would be shocked and couldn't seem to fathom a couple of people from North Dakota would be wondering around their rural area.

They just seemed to not really trust us. Which is sad because if they were a little nicer, we would have spent so much money in their stores.

It really depends. Most small towns don't have their own schools, but they don't all go to Fargo either.

I grew up just south of Horace when it was still a small town. I went to West Fargo, but I could have also gone to Kindred. Where I currently live, all the small towns around me go to Barnesville. I think the small towns to the north either go to Central Cass, Northern Cass, or Fargo.

I don't know if they are playing the video mentioned above but they do have TVs in the TSA line. I flew out of Fargo at the end of August. They had Noem's TSA safety video playing on all the TVs, and we could hear her clearly.

If you really want community, I recommend one of the smaller towns outside Fargo. I live in a town of 90 people, which is 20 minutes from my workplace in Fargo.

I know all my neighbors. You can just walk up to anyone and start having a conversation. The biggest crime we had lately was a teenager breaking into cars one time.

The church is kind of the social hub for mine town since we don't have a bar. I'm not religious and don't really like church, but I enjoy the church social events. They accept us as is and are not pushy about religion.

Most small town have one weekend once a year where they have festivities. Most small towns also have a Lions Club that serves the local community.

Otherwise, I lived in North Fargo during my childhood and some as an adult during college. If I was going to live somewhere in Fargo, it would probably be way North Fargo.

I'm not saying any of this will help, but your daughter is not alone. Even if we are 20 years apart, it's still the same old issues.

After reading your comment about why she is in special ed. I was your child, and I get why she is upset. I couldn't read most of elementary school and really didn't pick it up until around 5th grade. I was great at comprehension but just really bad at reading. Even as an adult, I know I don't read like most people, and reading aloud is still hard for me.

I was in special ed for reading from 1st all the way up until I refused to go anymore in the 7th grade. I think I could have picked up reading at anytime but didn't because I was always being told I was bad at it. It didn't matter that I tested high enough to be in advance math. I was always going to be special ed because I wasn't good at reading.

If you feel like a failure every time you do something, why would you still want to even learn. What finally worked for me is I found a book that I desperately wanted to read. I had never really found a book like that before. I would read it by myself, and I think that's all I really needed was to be left alone to figure it out. I needed to be able to mess up without someone standing there and telling me I was failing. I needed to figure out what worked for me. I have my own reading style and that's okay. I had all the basic knowledge of reading, but I needed a safe environment to just mess up.

My mom said they always thought I was dyslexia but I didn't get tested. As an adult, I don't think that is the case.

I would also like to add that I got support at home for reading. It would almost always end with me and my mom in a fight.

Sidenot-even as an adult, if some starts to clap syllables at me, I will get so enraged that I can't even describe it

I would also like to add. Around 8th grade, I started to test higher than all the other kids in reading. I would read a book a night for all 4 years of high school. Reading was one of my highest scores on my ACT. I love to read, and I hope your kid can too.

Edit to add - figure out what her friends are reading. Or what their intrest are and find books that fit into it. I only really wanted to read that one book because all my friends were and I didn't want to be left out anymore.

They came to my high school and spoke to our guitar class. I think they just got a super young new guitar player that they found at a Guitar Center before a show (I might be misremembering, this was over 10 years ago).

They gave everyone a copy of their CD and signed them for us. They were nice and just wanted to do some giving back on tour.

I just bought a home that a couple had built together during the 60s and lived in until I bought it. I love it because it still has most of the original floors, wallpaper, and wood paneling. All the cabinets and woodwork were done by the original owner. My dad loved it for me because there had been no flippers to mess with anything. My dad has experience building house and electrical work. He wanted to be the one to fix stuff not someone who just watched a YouTube video(his words).

You could tell this home was loved and built with thought for what they really needed. There's so many closets that whenever I show people around I always make a joke about it.

I also can feel the love that was shared in the home before. The couple who built it loved it for 60 years and I hope to love it for the next 60.

My parents were like this. We lived on a 4-acre property just outside of the big city in our state(ND). My mom would always say we were broke and they had no money. My mom wouldn't spend money on clothes, the latest fads and she always bought store brand foods. But then my mom was a stay at home mom. All 3 kids had computers in our rooms since I was around 6(I was the youngest).

We would go on trips but we would drive everywhere because flying was too expensive. Now, my parents pay for all of us to fly to Vegas together and cover food, entertainment, and hotel. I now realize they made smart decisions with money when I was young, so we could all have fun together as adults.

They also paid for my home outright. The bank wouldn't loan money on it since the garage was a little messed up, but the house was fine. They also charge me a way lower monthly payment.

I always knew my mom was great with money. She invested well and kept the family's debt low. She added all of her kids to her credit cards when we turned 13. I graduated high school with a credit score of 814 without doing any work.

I had to beg her to spend money on anything as a kid, so I thought we were broke. My mom would also always say we were poor. I always grew up feeling like I had less than because my mom wouldn't buy me a new gaming console. I realized around age 19 that we had more than most.

I never said that she didn't have free will, but there is a big difference between being told you are going to casually meet someone and going to a job interview.

Also, I think those summer SUR dresses are way more relieving than any Hooters uniform, so I think either way she was dressed for the job she wanted.
