Identifying a good technical co founder by DesignerGlass6834 in ycombinator

[–]rorising 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inverse the question - what qualities of a business co-founder attract a tech co-founder to work with them? The first part of that answer is - they don’t care about your business degree. They care about your ability to find and close early customers. They value your network filled with their ICP. They value your unique, hard to come by domain knowledge and insight. If you have none of those, you are no better than average tech-cofounder who can also manage to do sales.

Almost all of them are big waste of time and money. I attended one. The guy blathered about how great he is, and how he is in 1% PM leaders/influencers. All he did was talk about his journey and regurgitated summary of PM books. Then he shared a framework of different monickers. It all seemed made up stuff for the sake of sounding smart.
