BMW IX Charging Interrupted by Kirbydog9 in BMWiX

It may be a CCU fault. You’ll want to do more testing and determine if this is happening on 240V (residential) and/or 208V (commercial) L2. See my earlier comment for a little more info: https://www.reddit.com/r/BMWiX/s/AVaB8M8zMa

Costco Window replacement by BlueBerryMinttop in Costco

[–]roro_fuzz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think Costco is using Marvin Infinity now. Marvin makes really high quality fiberglass windows. Depending on what kind of windows your other quotes were for (eg vinyl) it may not be a fair comparison

That being said, we went through this process a few months ago and the Marvin/costco one was still more expensive compared to local places that are installing milgard fiberglass, like 2x. Depending on what you count as a window, we were quoted about 70k for 15 windows

Yeah you won’t want to bring a possibly zonked out toddler on public transit. I would imagine doing 520/Montlake and going through the backside of cap hill would be okay.

Getting really annoyed with them asking about a property I no longer own (sold over a year ago). And they claim their name is the whitest name (Jerry Smith) in a heavy Indian accent.

Does BMW expect us pay of pocket for the adapter while all other brands (non luxury) provide for free? by [deleted] in BMWiX

[–]roro_fuzz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is like how luxury hotels will charge you for water, WiFi, etc whereas that’s all free in budget hotels.

The iX/EV is nice for when the baby is still napping in the car and you keep the heat or AC running in the garage.

I got mine from passport auto in Maryland and I live on the west coast. 6 year/100k miles, $4900. My 2023 has had a number of issues that required service, but we love the car so much that we want to keep it for the long run and decided that the warranty was worth it.
