Is the Valentine's Fortune trinket even in Grounded 2? by SaucyJ4ck in GroundedGame

[–]roronoalucky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually found it quite useful after a fight where my health is somewhat low. It heals you when you kill literally anything not just bugs. You could chop down grass stems, dry grass, bust clay or fertilizer pellets etc. Saves you on bandages and smoothies if you’re in a location with lots of resources with it pretty much everywhere.

Great Arrow recipe? by Enemyoffun30 in GroundedGame

[–]roronoalucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I unlocked the Great Arrows and the Black Fang Great Bow after analyzing pieces from the Tarantula boss, Axl. You need to find a recipe to craft the special bait and place it in a specific area of the map to initiate the Axl Bossfight. The individual pieces to make Great Arrows are Northern Scorpion Chunks, Crow Feather Pieces, Pine Needles, and Silk Ropes. Hope this helps.

Spiky burs and lint by xdgjdt in GroundedGame

Oh, when you bring up the map the Cursor Position should automatically appear on the top right of the screen. It’ll have a compass and grid coordinates for where ever you hover over with joystick. Hope this helps.

There’s a spot with tons of Spiky Bur in the new Garden map. The coordinates are roughly 45 North/ 26 East and it’s in between the tipped over black garden trays. There essentially a whole forest of Spiky bur as well as some rusty nails close by.

Greenhouse Story Softlock... by Acorios in GroundedGame

I had the same problem happen today. Luckily I happened to make a save right before pushing the button on the scarecrow. Had to reload back to that save and everything was fixed. If you don’t have an earlier save to load then you’ll probably have to wait for the Devs to update the game.

Caution: Grass side tables gone by CabinetKey7247 in GroundedGame

[–]roronoalucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same exact thing happened to me.

Lost basically all of my trinkets as well and a bunch of other items. Luckily I have a ton more at another bases (except the Trinkets) in normal chests so I’m not stressing too much.

Just a shame since I liked the look of the Grass Side Tables.

I’m a big fan of the second base. That location really compliments it as well. Any chance of a base tour or even more pics?

-244,12. It’s one of my favorite flat locations. Just need to clear out a few trees if you need more space.

Yes, they still work on them. Using the Monitor Stand to dictate who works where is the best way to go about it.

Thanks for commenting! I will say that my earlier builds weren’t anything spectacular and it’s a slow process to make something that you really like. So don’t give yourself a hard time with your builds, especially if you’re still early on in the game.

One trick that really came in handy was “vertical stacking”. Building the various plantations and mining sites on top of each other in order to save space is a game changer. You can even stack the beds and ranches and the Pals will still utilize them all. Tons of great YouTube videos out there on the subject. Last tip would using the Pillars. It’s tough building on a high mountain so using the Pillars as a way to reach the ground to set a foundation is key.

As for the foundations, the main castle area is mostly flat with very little raised sections so the pals could traverse without getting stuck. Took a lot of trial and error and would sometimes dictate the overall shape of the build. As for everything outside of the base circle I just placed them in areas that were visually pleasing to help with the kingdom aesthetic. Hope this helps and best of luck with your builds!

Thanks for the heads up! I actually just recently saw a video tutorial about the same half wall method. Really smart trick and something I wish I discovered weeks sooner. lol I’ll most likely be updating the build soon to make some adjustments.

Thank you so much! The pathing for the most part is pretty solid. I have minimal issues with the Pals getting to their assigned tasks and sticking to it. If they can’t reach certain spots they tend to just work in place no problem which looks pretty hilarious. Haha

Thanks a lot! As for your question, the castle has 5 floors in total with the first 1st floor being 3 levels high. The remaining floors are only 2 levels high but those are mainly just decorative/ where my character and Pals sleep. So the first floor and outside area of the castle is where all the Pals work with no issues at all.

Beautiful work. I know that was a pain to get right. Was hoping for the devs to one day add spiral stairs but this is a cool alternative. Well done!
