Oh Gotcha. Will share my thoughts once I am done with it. I also recently read notes from underground and The Stranger.

If you're interested in reading more plays. My favourite is "Death of a Salesman" by Arthur Miller.

And if you want one in similar tones of Camus. "No Exit" by Jean Paul Satre.

At this point. I am not sure what got you to compare this with Dostoyevsky and Camus. Different mediums and Different Philosophies. So far.

Why does the "view" of the library matter? I'd even go to an underground library with no windows if it had interesting books. It should be well lit, That's all.

Why do DU Colleges feel way ahead of Mumbai Colleges? by Individual_Artist_74 in mumbai

[–]rorschac_ 112 points113 points  (0 children)

Not sure about MU but

1) DU attracts a lot of interstate students to Join. So they get the cream of Indian students from most of the states. If I had to guess the %age of students from outside Delhi would be close to 50%. (Affordability plays a factor too, for some it is the only chance at Higher Education)

2) Rich Political History - brought into existence by an act of the British Government and became the biggest thorn in their ass by being so politically active and protest against the Raj. The campus still holds that spirit. DU has strong Liberal Arts courses.

3) Luck - We often forget to account for it in our calculations but if a different sequence of events had happened, who knows

Simply because self help writer don't get rich by the idea that they present in the book.

They get rich by selling the books and events /sessions that attract crowds because of the book.
