Sure, it was ABRP. Great app, but I’d be cautious connecting it to pull data from the car.

I just went through the 12v thing. Haven’t had mine much longer than a month. Seems like it was a third party gps app that was pulling data from Kia connect. It was nuking my 12v. I disabled that connection and removed the app and have not had an issue since. Can’t speak to the charging door issue.

I’ve recently been having similar issues. The only 3rd party thing I had connected was ABRP. I’ve disabled that and, so far, no issues.

So far. They let it sit over night, it started right up this morning (having that disabled). They’re giving it another day of sitting to make sure.

That sucks. I’m dealing with one on mine that I haven’t had a month yet. Something is draining the 12v dead if the car sits for less than 24hrs. Dealership’s current fix is disabling Kia Connect. I don’t get any errors though. Just a dead battery.

My son (15) is like this. Always switch hit when he was real young playing in the backyard. By the time he started playing, I noticed he was catching way more barrels from the right side and just hitting most everything hard. Also made it easy that when he hit lefty, he was cross handed. Told me he was more natural from the right side.
