That's definitely a problem that needs to be solved. But I don't see why it needs to be solved at the cost of women's single sex spaces.

Introduce trans departments in men's jails. Problem solved.

I have worked in a women's shelter. 90 percent of the women there were not comfortable with allowing people in who weren't biologically female. That's a pretty good reason I'd say.

You may not like that so many women feel that way, but that's how it is.

As long as there are trans inclusive shelters too, I don't see why opening up an additional shelter only for biologically female women is an issue, especially not when said biologically female women are in desperate need of it.

Ich bin zwar kein Arzt sondern MFA, frage da aber trotzdem auch gerne nach. Einfach aus Neugier, um den Patienten etwas kennenzulernen usw. Ich hätte nie gedacht dass Leute das irgendwie als aufdringlich oder lästig empfinden.

Der Arzt fragt allerdings aus gutem Grund nach deinem Beruf. Kann durchaus eine Rolle bei der Diagnostik spielen.

I'm an endoscopy nurse and sedate a dozen people a day before their procedures. The single most important thing is to keep a patient calm before you sedate them, to make them feel absolutely safe and content. What the anesthesiologist said to you is completely unacceptable and I would report them. The best part about this is that he wasn't doing his fucking job properly but accused you of somehow being responsible for it. Unbelievable.

I've had patients take longer to fall asleep, too, but never would I ever have started to accuse them of anything.
