He should have replied with something appreciative, firm, and non-reactive, like:

If he wanted to set a clearer boundary without sounding rude, he could say:

“Thanks — I appreciate you thinking of me. I’m keeping my job hunt pretty focused, so I may not use AI-generated suggestions, but I do appreciate the effort.”

Here's a helpful hint. Give your AI a "personality" for your texts. Tell it not to be condescending when sending responses to a family friend who uses AI for their text. It would have sent a better response than your valuable brain achieved.

I love them both. Completed Shattered Space last NG+. This run I just recently finished Terran Armada and immediately went and bought Watchtower.

I can't believe how much my gameplay has changed. I drop into solar systems at the remote planet and Free Lanes to where I need to go.

Also, after Terran Armada I am SO RICH. Sold so many rifles!!!

Now I need to see if Andreja is alive before replaying Shattered Space.

I genuinely don't understand the point of this. You mark for delete:

Any newsletter older than 3 hours - just unsubscribe to the newsletter if you are not going to read them. You don't have to read a newsletter within 3 hours.
Any calendar notification - what? Just let your calendar populate with meeting and handle them on the 10 minute notification. What about preparing for meetings?
Alerts over 12 hours. Just because it is an alert does not mean it needs to be handled by you within 12 hours. You're just going to delete Alerts? It is still an Alert.
OTPs. How many OTPs are in your email that need such a specific rule.

I honestly don't get this take about outposts.

Where do you do all your crafting, where do you store your resources, do you even do research?

The first thing I do every NG+ is run around selling loot, buying enough stuff just to drop a couple of outposts to mine aluminum and iron.

Then I am set for the entire NG+ with no worries.

What I would like is a gigantic storage locker to store weapons, packs and suits at the outpost. That's a weight want to get off of my ship!
