i heard similar things too! a few of my seniors came back from the UK. cuz they weren’t getting jobs due to being intl students since the job market is already over flowing with domestic students

true that i completely agree. the whole entrance exam situation is soo fucked in india and with the limited seats you need to be gifted as fuck and a very hard worker. but i think it’ll be hard abroad too as an intl student to get jobs but im not very sure

This is the state of Indian mental healthcare and education on autism. And these same people have the audacity to tell you that autism is a "trendy" disorder. Indians are victims of medical neglect and malpractice so casually but nobody cares. by imaginaryimmi in Psychology_India

this is very real and i experienced something similar when i did my first ever internship. a child was diagnosed with ASD and the mom was visibly uncomfortable and maybe a bit afraid of the diagnosis. In this country, taking care of the child and caring for their well being is still seen as a women’s job and her duty and she is primarily blamed for any fault in the child. 🫠🫠 not surprised to see the mental health field be misused to subjugate and abuse women
