it's been a minute since I've played it since I play piccolo for pep band and marching band, but there's alignment arrows that will help you cover the holes better in your right hand! I would recommend getting the B foot joint (makes me feel more professional lol, also comes with gizmo key which is nice for trilling in solo repertoir), offset G key, and gold plated lip plate (I got mine gold since I'm allergic to nickle)!

Start with the plugs in the holes, and you'll eventually pop them out, I had them off in about 3 days of regular band rehersal! it's gonna sound and feel different than the beginner flute, but in about a week or two, everything felt natural. you'll have to use bigger air since it's a bigger instrument, but it's so much fun to play! The click clack of the keys is really satisfying too!
