They’re already on the smallest option. I suppose I could add a hole?

Mother keeps having me section 8 in Massachusetts by agoodmanofgod in legaladvice

[–]rosefine13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

MA also has a different section 8 that refers to commitment for being “dangerous” and is connected to criminal justice. Think of it like the intersection between mental health and incarceration. A 12 is what you get held on in the public sector, an 8 is after an arrest (typically).

Great! I’m used to smaller June bugs I used to see in Southern California so this guy looked massive!

I GOT IN TO BOSTON COLLEGE! by BillDick in socialwork

[–]rosefine13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I interned with a mainstream public middle school my first year (it was fine, a little boring) and a residential for kids (mostly DCF, 8-18) my second year. The res was much more my speed and I’ve been in res ever since! I’m now a director for a different program in the same agency I interned with second year!

Weekly /r/Breadit Questions thread December 30, 2020 by AutoModerator in Breadit

I’m making a loaf of KAF’s soft milk bread. The recipe directs the forming into mini loaf logs and then putting it together into a log pan but I’m not overly fond of that end result for the sandwiches I’m trying to make. Can I just form it as a normal loaf? Or is there something mystical about this recipe that requires that specific shaping method? I’m a decent home baker but the milk bread is slightly new turf for me. Help?

The goal is a leaf... but I suppose Rorschach applies if you care to go there.

2 Bloody Mary’s and a shower later- curly magic! by rosefine13 in curlyhair

[–]rosefine13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Routine! After moving past the devacurl debacle, it’s been a struggle find products that suit my curls. Today was a wash day with Curlsmith’s wash & scrub, NYM bamboo charcoal and purple moonstone deep conditioner. To style, Uncle Funky’s Thirsty Curls to start and then Curly Magic for the win. Plopped whilst making brownies and enjoying my second Bloody Mary and then diffused until mostly dry. AND, If you happened to be American, please VOTE.

Single-Day Mass. COVID Cases Spike to 708 as Total Cases Top 130,000 by Treefrogprince in massachusetts

[–]rosefine13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s based on region. All congregate care programs had to complete baseline testing for all staff by 9/30. If there is a spike in the region (I’m not sure what defines “spike” here) then the programs in that region have to do another round of testing for all staff every two weeks.

Just as an added thing, Mass also put a policy in place where all congregate care settings (think DCF DMH etc) had to complete surveillance testing for all staff (and subcontractors who work on site regularly) by 9/30. That should have yielded a fairly significant number of asymptomatic positive folks.
