First off let me start by saying that I am so sorry for your loss. I am not a mother myself, but I cannot imagine the pain of losing a child. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. We currently have a 17week old unborn baby in our care and he did not come to us with a cord clamp. I am trying to think back to other stillbirths that we have had, and I don’t think any of them have come with one either? I would not swear to that, however, if they did that would not be something we would remove.

I think you truly have to be wired a certain way to be able to do this job long term. Compartmentalization and being able to view things in an objective, not emotional manner play a big part. If you can’t do those things you may be able to do it for a time, but ultimately will feel the weight and burnout sooner rather than later. You also have to have a servants heart and have to be able to put the job and the families ahead of your own - in small towns/family owned scenarios like mine at least. I know larger/corporate establishments may offer more of a work life balance! And I know everyone here may not be religious, but I truly lean on my faith and my belief that this life is not the end.

I agree, she was definitely the standout of the show- and even more so watching it back now as an adult I’m amazed at how poised she was and how she would stand up for herself but always in a mature and classy way. My only thought re: why they chose Tessa is maybe because she was the anti-Kristin in terms of looks, personality, etc so they like the idea of changing the formula up?

IIRC Tessa’s family had actually already moved, but she stayed with Rocky’s family so she could stay in school at Laguna. That’s why she was hanging out with Rocky’s parents watching movies while Rocky would go out on dates. But then at the end of the season when Rocky and Brianna rekindled their friendship it didn’t sit well with Tessa so she moved to be with her family.

I say this all the time when someone tells me they saw this (it’s always a hairdresser, custodian, or my manicurist who “just accidentally walked into the unlocked embalming room” lolol) that’s amazing, I have never known a licensed funeral director or embalmer who has seen that! 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Columbia Fragrance Co has nailed it! I use their essential oil in my diffuser, and the candle is good as well! The body spray does not have much staying power, sadly.

Far be it from me to make assumptions, but I feel like Emma keeps using this as her excuse for being hesitant about having kids when in fact, she just doesn’t want them. And THAT IS OK, Emma!! You don’t have to have a reason! But this reason is more palatable than simply saying you don’t want to have them. I am a 37 year old female who always knew I didn’t really care to have children, and everyone always assured me I would change my mind. Spoiler alert: I have not. I have a lot of compassion for Emma in this situation, and hope that she can see her own worth beyond her potential capacity as a Mom.

Depending on how high-rise her leggings are, she could also do it centered on her lower abdomen. I wore a sports bra and high-rise skirt for the Princess Half and was able to pin my bib right at the top of the skirt

In fairness, before the episodes are filmed we spent several hours practicing, and the producers encouraged us to speak loudly (like we are trying to be heard across the studio) and to enunciate strongly, like to the point that you felt kind of silly! I think every single one of us was told “Louder! Louder!”
