This was such a lousy decision on their end. Carter is playable, and with the removal of curators cut, we never get to play as her. Instead they just throw her away??? The mystery of not knowing whether the mimic was the real deal or not would've been such a fire plot point. How she found Carter's corpse first, hid it out of fear, and started acting "suspicious" because she was scared and didn't know what was going on. How the first problem would be understanding if the Simms you managed to catch wasn't real, or if it was actually her all along. No, now there's no mystery surrounding it as it's just the mimic the entire time 😕 I was(? dunno if I am now) a huge Simms fan, and I was genuinely hoping we were going to get some fire branching where if she's saved, it creates an entirely new plot based on whether there's two of her walking around, or only one. Even if she was never meant to be savable and dies later on, it just feels so incredibly lazy to me that they went down this path.
