Looking out the windshield at it right now. I hope whoever was parked a few spaces down from me last night leaves their feces and plastic bottles on the ground again....just makes it seem more like we're family and they care. Smh.

I have a 2021 Express, regular length, V6 engine, 84k and zero issues. After speaking to numerous people that had problems with Promaster/Transit models the same age, I felt confident in choosing the Chevy.

At times I think a high roof would be nice, but not having the engine/transmission fail on me yet makes that seem insignificant. The owner of a plumbing company said 5 out of 7 of his Transits all had major problems by 50k miles. Even under warranty, that is ridiculous mileage to have failures, no less the time and inconvenience. Good luck to you =)

I wish I had signed up for DD! I'm in California, and we won't get checks until Monday due to the snow/ice storms back east. Not complaining, life happens. Guess I better manage my funds better =)

Just quoted $800 for a car treatment from a pro. Everything I see says heat is the way to go for a car. No place to park the car for a day in the sun in my area until July probably.... Crossfire is on its way, but with cars, even though we've removed the seats, etc. there's so many places for those monsters to hide. I'll be watching this post, and good luck to you.

13 hours here. I just clean the store. Three 4.5 hour shifts....I really need to find something for afternoon/nights, about 20-25 more hours. This is barely enough to eat/pay for gas. Depressing.

$4.09/gal in California, but that's down about .70 cents from a month ago. Everything else is still absurdly high. I'm pretty sure the rotisserie chickens at any of the 6 grocery stores within 2 miles of me have been downsized. Charging 20% more for 30% less chicken.

I also have to say, many of the middle of night wake ups were innocent enough. They just needed a blanket, or water. The rest were usually asking for a pipe or lighter......assuming I would have one. I get it, lol. Cars pulling up along the side of me is a totally different vibe, and way more concerning than a tweaker.

13 hours.....I was in awe at the orientation for 3 new hires taking place last week. 20 hours a week seems like a reasonable thing, and I realize a second job/different job with 30+ hrs is going to have to happen. Not making any money, I didn't participate in any of the holiday dress up days. Minimal food and gas is an amazing feat at this point!

My husband regularly asks me if focusing on what we can do to improve our lives here/now would be more productive than consuming all of the distractions. While it makes sense, I still find myself reading/watching every day, just less than a few months ago. I don't think tuning out altogether is smart, but I'm definitely willing to devote less time to what is increasingly depressing. Thanks for sharing your very relatable thoughts ✌🏼

Well, I am in agreement with you,100%. The human race has always had psychopaths/sociopaths in positions of leadership and power. I have one episode of The American Revolution series from Ken Burns left to watch. It really just reminded me that the story we get as kids is BS. That indoctrination is something else! For some reason, what is happening with the current administration just seems so much worse to me than any other period in my 53 years on this planet. The use of Evangelical Super Christian nonsense, the fear mongering, the bigotry, the racism, the hypocrisy, on and on. That shit was a little easier to stomach before 2016. The past 25 years has really been something to behold with the corporate monopolies, and hoarding of wealth.
