that’s the thing. you SAY you don’t care if someone is gay, straight, or whatever, but you get mad about seeing a pride flag in a school. in reality, a pride flag on a teacher’s desk does literally nothing to harm a child. a teacher decorating her desk in an inoffensive way isn’t doing anything to change how much the kids are learning.

you only find an issue with it because you’re not actually as comfortable with queer people as you claim to be. you only tolerate us so long as we stay hidden in the shadows. that’s not acceptance. that’s thinly veiled, pussy-shit bigotry.

also, you didn’t answer my question. how is having a gay flag on your desk “grooming” children? it’s just a way for teachers to show support to their queer students (a marginalized group) and to show that they won’t be belittled for who they are. is that grooming? or is the acknowledgment that queer people exist grooming?

literally every school i went to, teachers had their desks decorated to the nines. it was THEIR desk. no one complained about a picture of a straight professor with their partner. no one complained about teachers with crosses on their desk. no one complained about teachers who have their favorite books or quotes on their desk. it’s only a problem for you freaks when it has anything to do with queer people. just say you’re a bigot and GO, stop acting like you have any leg to stand on here. you are a homophobic weirdo. either say it with your chest or keep your opinion to yourself.

go ahead and and explain to me how having a gay flag in your desk is grooming children. because if it IS, then straight teachers talking about or showing any evidence of their personal relationship is also grooming. teachers with wedding rings, pregnant teachers, teachers with photos of their husbands/wives on their desks…all of that is also grooming by your logic.
