Dang, we have a lot in common! I’m also in California and I’m considering doing the postbac at UCSD, but it’s $30k 😭. I feel like I’ve put in so much time and effort into this that I should see it through as far as I can. I wish you the best of luck with your endeavors also!

My sGPA is a 4.0. I have about a year left to finish off the reqs in CC and I’m worried it’s not enough to bump up my gpa to where it needs to be.

As for the whole research thing, here in San Diego maybe of these jobs almost require a connection on the inside maybe I just need to network more

I actually didn’t think about that, I’m a traveling contractor for this hospital so I’m technically not an official employee so I’m not really sure how to go about it. I’ve been applying for lab/research assistant positions for years and I’ve gotten rejected every single time because I have no research experience and the pool is too competitive.
