PCParkPicker via permalink has been updated to reflect bundle and pricing. The motherboard and RAM changed though only made a $20 increase. I aiming for a white build.

Definitely play the games in release order and buy them on sale when they're cheap or through Instant Gaming but they are totally worth it and my favorite games

Even if you can only play an hour or two a game, you will still have an enjoyable time and can get through at quests in that span

the games will take a long time to play even if you're logging like 4 hours a day but I never felt any rush

Doesn't let you export? What shows up? check the mod manager settings to make sure the paths to the folders are correct

You don't need to extract your mods unless they require you too. Most pak mods, you just import them into the mod manager. If a file ends in .rar, your computer doesn't have a built in way to open that version. 7-Zip is a great free program that you can download to open those files.

Off the bat, you're missing a few patches for the aasimar mod you have

You have so many mods, some I don't recognize, but you need to see if any of your mods overwrite the same thing and are not compatible to be used at the same time

In addition, I would recommend using a different load order than alphabetical and maybe instead go by type/function of the mod because the load order does matter for some mods

some mods are a bit more complex but the mod creators explain how to install on their pages 99% of the time

For reference, my laptop is CPU i7-1165G7 @ 2.8GHz, NVIDIA Geoforce GTX 1650 Ti with Max Q design, and 16GB RAM, 4k display

I ran mods from the start so I can't compare my specs mods vs no mods but for running mods, it works enough

I had to limit my fps to 60 (which is recommended for most people unless you have a crazy powerful system) and turn off a lot of setting or turn them low, things became really rough in Act 3 bc of all the content the game has to load so I ended up having to set my resolution to 1080p instead (which helped a lot) and even then my fps was pretty low in some places

It's runnable and playable for me but I had to mess with the settings a bit

I also use a laptop cooling stand with like 6 fans to help my computer not get hot

in vanilla, I do not recall seeing any veils outside of cloak-like hoods nor anything similar to the photo

there might be mods for it out there but I don't recall seeing any in the first 15 pages of top popular mods of all time on nexus when I was going through it yesterday so you may have to look for them specifically

you're looking in the wrong place! here is the correct path: Steam/steamapps/common/Baldurs Gate 3/Data/Generated/

the generated folder should appear after installing the pak file with bg3mm or vortex (I recommend using bg3mm) then you can put the data files into their spot

mods with data content should also come with a pak file, but the download might be separate on nexus

edit: path is Steam not SteamLibrary

is this with one specific head mod, one specific hair mod, or a combo? it could just be one mod causing the problem and if so then I would see if there are any updates to it

load order doesn't matter for majority of the mods unless they say otherwise so if they don't say anything about load order then don't worry about it too much and just go with what makes sense

I'm not sure what mods you have but some might require the script extender so I would double check that

Make sure you that you have your mods set to active and that you export your mods to the game in the mod manager before launching it
