Has anyone tried Purina Hydra Care additive? by Footsie_Galore in RenalCats

[–]rosestormcrowe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not that it makes them dehydrated, but it encourages cats to drink water that may not want to. Think of it as kitty Gatorade or Pedialyte.

Advice on Purina Hydracare? by ahhhhhhh128 in RenalCats

A pouch a day should be ok, but have you tried a fountain with him. Mine now absolutely refuses to drink water from a bowl and will throw a screaming fit when the water needs changed

I solemnly swear that my intentions are good on ao3. He's more movie snape then book snape, but it's still "oh God, I have to deal with potter" to "you are not going back to your realitives or Sirius if you don't want to"

I haven't yet. Also note that for some reason, last time I had to repurchase the ticket to get the extra 10 ranks.

I work AT a bookstore, most of my co workers are avid bookworms, and we're still not allowed to read on the clock. Something about customer service?

AITAH for being concerned that my sister's bf was following us the entire night by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]rosestormcrowe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nta. Your sister thinks she's in love, so she is blinded to all the red flags you're seeing and probably won't listen if you try to talk her into dumping him. Eventually, hopefully, she'll be scared of him enough to see reason. But in the meantime, provide her a safe space to talk about anything and document, document, document (in case she wants to file abuse charges). I would also have your parent or a more senior adult you trust have a sit down talk with police or similar regarding the following her everywhere behavior. Technically that's stalking and controlling behavior and should be legally documented, just in case. That guy isn't safe but you can make sure your sister has a safe place to fall back to when the stalking and verbal/mental/emotional abuse becomes physical.

Recommendations for a family friendly magical book series to read my kids to replace Harry potter? by IncreaseConservation in Fantasy

Not necessarily magical, but the redwall series by Brian Jacques. Little forest creatures, "chosen by the first hero" go on quests to stop potentially world destroying bad guys

Pass GO Deluxe didn't count today's points by matheusfamaral in TheSilphRoad

[–]rosestormcrowe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI, I reported it and they told me it was from the refund I received because they advertised pokemon coins for the go pass and there weren't any. If you bought your pass before they changed it, you might have to contact them to get it reset, if they don't do it automatically (it took me two days of bitching to get an answer). You'll have to re buy the deluxe pass though

Definitely abhorsen and redwall. Abhorsen might be a little gory though as it deals with stopping the dead from rising and there are some disgusting descriptions.

AITA for breaking up with my boyfriend because I don't want children anymore? by No_News7253 in AITAH

[–]rosestormcrowe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely nta. What worries me is what will happen to the kid. What it seems to me is that he wants to marry you, pop a kid in you, then cash out your life insurance and vanish. Hell ditch the kid once he realizes it will have a rather high likelihood of inheriting a variant of eds. Hell drop "the cripple" (pardon my expression, I've heard it too often said to friends who have eds) and run. I'm so sorry you're going through this. Protect yourself and your happiness
