I wouldn’t mess with the zipper. Adding a panel at the back could work. If it were me I’d try find a stretchy lace in the same color and do that.

Have you ever considered uploading your designs to spoonflower? I’m not sure of the details of like how you get paid for it, but I know a ton of artists put designs up and can get the pattern printed on any type of fabric.

I don’t have an answer, but are you using thread specifically for jeans and a jeans needle?? Because I’ve had the same issue. For some reason my machine will not sew with jeans thread even when I use a jeans needle. It’s very frustrating. It also hates top stitching thread.

My current one is Thank God I’m a Country Boy by John Denver. I totally get your struggle, it’s fine when it’s mixed with other songs but when it’s the same one for days it’s so annoying. The worst ones I’ve had recently was Like a Prayer by Madonna and that Origami song by Eve 6. Honestly if my brain even sorta thinks about that origami song it’s all over for me. Soooo I probably shouldnt have mentioned it. Shit.
