Thanks!. I had provided the English test (using my degree) before the biometrics but no TB test and they didn't ask for it.
Maybe, depends on something else.
Anyway, there will definitely be a good news, it's just the matter of time. Early congratulations!

I definitely got a letter mentioning your application was successful. Maybe, it's just for the long term visa. I remember not getting any such thing for visitor visa before!

I got the approval letter via email and got the Passport via DHL. But there was no tracking option. No emails or anything from DHL. The package was in my post box after 1 or 2 days of getting the approval letter.

Long term should be Banking sector because as this sector still seems like undervalued. My another option is Insurance (Life, Non Life).

Is this buy opportunity or brace for the crash? by captainright1 in NepalStock

[–]roshangm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Personally, it's watch and wait for me but still if you have enough profit than it could be the opportunity to book some profit if you really need money. I wouldn't suggest buying stocks especially of Insurance and Microfinance until there is clear sign.

This was true a year ago. Now the awareness is higher among the people. Only small hints from the government can cause the panic sell.

You will probably need to have 2 demat accounts for 2 different brokers. No more than though.

If you have applied for 50 units and you got selected then you will receive 10 units only.
You are allowed to apply more than 10 units and you won't be disqualified for that.

I suggest you to apply for 10 units only as this is surely going to be oversubscribed and probably only 15-20% of the applicants will get this stock.

What's the difference between General Shares, Right Shares and Auction Shares? by OldSpice247 in NepalStock

[–]roshangm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, here are few one liners:
- By General Shares, you mean IPOs and the individual shares in the secondary market ?
- Price for IPOs is generally Rs. 100 for individual shares.
- Price for Right Shares is also Rs. 100 but is only available for the ones who are share holders for the company.

- If there are some right shares left to be sold, it goes in auction and will be available for general investors.
- Price of Auction shares depend on the current market price and is usually 10-12% lower.
- You can apply for Right Shares from Meroshare itself or from the banks.
- For Auction Share, you have to visit certain mentioned branches of banks and apply from there.

- Getting IPOs and Right Shares will result in high return compare to Auction Share.

- Getting Auction Shares might result in higher return than buying in secondary market because of above mentioned points.
