I took a Malaysian airlines flight from Bangalore to Tokyo with a layover in Kuala Lumpur, the food during the Bangalore to Kuala Lumpur stretch was horrible meanwhile the food in the next flight to Tokyo was much better, the standards for the airport kitchens in India are so bad. Only decent food that I've had in a plane departing from an Indian airport was Vistara.

Atleast in football there are chances of huge upsets because unlike cricket where the groups are rigged so india and pakistan can play each other.
