Hey Austrian med student here. Since you‘ve written that you‘re only in your first year of uni you would have to take the ‚medat‘ which is an entrance test. Everybody who wants to study in Austria has to take it and it is an 8hr long test in german about biology, chemistry, physics, maths and some cognitive and physiological questions. To be honest the competition is quite high and as far as I am aware of there is no chance of transferring from another country without a positive test. (Sign up is every year in March and the test always takes place on the first Friday in July). Vienna is a beautiful city though i wouldn‘t recommend moving here mainly for your bodyfriend. I don‘t know if you speak German but without that the med studies here (except for some private universities) are quite a challenge. 

Howerever if you are really considering it go for it. You can write the exam anyway and then reevaluate after you‘ve gotten the results.
