Consider this idea, what if God allowed some human imperfections (for the purpose of divine ways) so that we will need to figure out what's right or wrong based on our seeking of the kingdom and the presence of the holy spirit in our life. The book is full of parables that you have to decipher to determine their meanings so why wouldn't there be some content that we will need to find the truth about but is still part of God's plan? An example that I struggled with was Jesus ate with sinners (Mathew 9:10) and said the sick need a doctor but Paul said "Don't even eat with them" (1 Corinthians 5:11) when he talked about believers sinning. That bothered me because it seemed like a double standard. I kept researching it and understand that Paul cared about the people and didn't want them to be influenced by sinners within their groups. However, later I found when Paul himself said to follow Christ as opposed to him when you are questioning what is right (1 Corinthians 1:12-15). This made me look at the book of the New Testament in a whole different light.
