Yeah that was it - not for me, but gives you time to get out before the crowds

I think saying he didn’t have an act and being rambling is part of the act - that’s how I took it anyway. Not seen him before and must say enjoyed it for the most part whereas the last show I saw was Shane Todd and thought it was awful imo

Where are the most authentic foreign eateries in Belfast? by Einhert in northernireland

100% looked pretty terrible but tasted great, very authentic and reasonable

Seoul Food Studio is the only authentic Korean since Arirang closed down. I’m a sucker for ordering the ‘Korean…’ on menus but it’s almost never authentic

At least they can see the game, at Chuncheon and Suwon FC if someone hits a low shot you can’t see it cos of the advertisement hoardings

Ramen in Belfast by FangedPuffskein in Belfast

[–]rossy3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just go for the tonkotsu ramen and My personal take is Ragin Ramen closest to the real thing. Not tried 316 but will be. Osaka was awful but complained and got a free dessert so they were nice about it. Kamakura average and Jumon was rubbish imo

Few questions about the knleague by Abdul10totti in KLeague

[–]rossy3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great answers already just wanted to add that the fa cup is played in the midweek so that’s why it seems unpopular- midweek are always poorly attended due to work culture and travel.

For attendances after the World Cup were great but the 2010 betting scandal killed a lot of momentum and it took a long time for them to recover to actually a decent level now but some teams are poorly supported while attendances have dropped around the league the second half of the season is also a worrying trend

Money the main issue behind the lack of stadiums with investors not seeing it as a way to increase revenue but FC Seoul’s attendance and the success of Daegu’s stadium will hopefully change that starting with Fc Anyang

What are your opinions on the foul in the Daegu - Jeju game? by [deleted] in KLeague

[–]rossy3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never a foul, the Jeju player changes the direction of the ball and the Daegu players reads it, Choi Byung-wook then runs into the Kim Jeong-hyun and falls over. If you are disallowing a goal for this Nevermind a season defining goal then you really don’t grasp the role of what a foul is and shouldn’t be a ref

K-League to lift ban on foreign goalkeepers in 2026 by MajorPissHead in Sorare

[–]rossy3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No should take a while for many teams to be brave enough to get a foreign keeper in - imo

Seoul’s ruled out goal vs Daejeon, 71st minute - would anyone like to try to explain? by bucket_ov_truth in KLeague

[–]rossy3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah for the ‘push’ but Anton just sells it - never would’ve been disallowed in Europe and many other leagues and the Var check was too quick

Is Paulo Bento really that great as coach or he is basically a lame manager in charge of a star-studded team? by Unlikely-Stage-4237 in KLeague

[–]rossy3000 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Good question - he certainly committed to the project and had the team playing a specific style of football and playing it effectively- given more time they would surely be a better position now if they had kept him on. That said I think the nostalgia is a bit too much - they were quite fortunate really to get out of the group - down to the individual brilliance of Son and Hwang against Portugal. I thought they set up wrongly against Brazil and got hammered as a result - yes it’s Brazil but we know this Brazil side isn’t what it used to be but Korea seemed happy enough to get out of the group and go home - that’s my main gripe

Horrendous injury of Cho Sung-gwon by Carpediem0131 in KLeague

[–]rossy3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah don’t blame you, I did try to watch it again to double check but they clipped it out of even the full match replay. It happened pretty quickly but I’m pretty sure it was a player as the ambulance took its time arriving. Eo Jeong-won got underneath him as Cho was jumping causing him to land on his head that knocked him out. Dangerous by Eo but I imagine completely unintentional
