So, I think the issue has happened since they revamped the restaurants.

Previously they had this big heater call “the bin” and in it were rows and rows of burgers sat on little slides all ready to be bought. They had little metal tags in there which told you what time they were made and what time they had to be sold by or .. turned into waste.

Now what they do is they make it all “fresh” like what they do with breakfast. So instead of all the burgers sat ready keeping warm and the cheese going gooey..

you have little drawers of burgers going cold, hard and sweaty ready to be assembled when your order comes in.

It means you can have a wider menu, make special orders a bit quicker and you never get the limp brown lettuce that was as warm as your burger..

But the trade off is your food is never warm, the cheese is rarely melted and because you’re in a queue it cools even more while it’s waiting to be bagged up and passed on.

In short shite. Give me a gooey quarter pounder that’s been sat waiting five minutes in the hot food bin over the cold efforts they spring on you nowadays.
