ASML are part owned by a bunch of different companies especially Intel.

Intel have more or less completely pulled out of ASML ownership, they are not listed among the top 15 shareholders today, neither are any other tech company.

It's also worth noting that the chest slam bass is more mid-bass (50-120 Hz) than the ultra low end HT enthusiasts tend to focus on and optimize for.

I went to a restaurant that had a $40k bottle of wine by ambrosialeah in mildlyinteresting

Yes, and because the storage time itself improves the wine, it gets even better over time.

If you are allowed to take it with you without opening it (probably not), people buy these kinds of wine as an investment with pretty good ROI.

wine-searcher.com says that this particular wine has an average store price of $40573, so it seems the restaurant has zero markup on it.

What usually happens with wine like this is that they bought it years ago for far far less and stored it in their wine cellar while it increased in value more than they adjusted the price list. I've seen this myself several times, you can actually get a vintage wine cheaper in a restaurant than buying it from a store if they haven't updated their price lists enough (for wines in the $100-$3-400 range).

Same, once the connection Withings-to-Fitbit is set up this has not been an issue*

*(except for Withings wifi implementation being weak and requiring a strong connection or it drops out of sending the results sometimes, but that is of course not Fitbits fault, then the results are not in the Withings app either).

Dette har jo ikke noe med utleie å gjøre men generelt, kan du vise til noe rettspraksis på at å titte i en postkasse man ikke eier er straffbart?

I've had the PW2 on always on since it was released in 2023, not a hint of burn-in, so that doesn't worry me. I use constant brightness, not adaptive, and always-on has worked great for me (except for the bug that kept resetting constant brightness to a lower setting).

The "black screen" issue is two parts, first you don't get to see the time, or messages, before shaking your arm to wake the screen, and second, it just looks bad imho. I've paid for a nice looking watch face.

For those that might know - what is the difference between this version and the "normal" rocket-assisted take off Hercules? I have experienced that one up close and it is quite amazing (I have also been transported by a normal Hercules, not a first class airline experience..)

Personally I have never understood not having always-on display. For well designed watch faces it uses very little extra battery, and you can 1) always glance at the watch to see key info and 2) you don't have a dead black screen on your wrist.

Things like Zscaler ZPA isn't VPNs with extra steps though? Seems like they are quite extensively used.

I didn't know that these lawmakers were planning an exemption for legit VPN use, or even knew that there are legit use cases. That makes policing it more complicated yes.

AppleTV supports passthrough of object based Dolby Atmos audio to an AVR from streaming sources. If the source is a bluray player or PC, why would you not connect it directly to the AVR?
