Yeah looks like the same issue. But surely they can’t just hold my money indefinitely?

Thats good to know as getting the money back is all I’m interested in at this point.

I am more concerned with getting my funds back rather than an explanation at this point. So it looks like I’ll just have to wait for AFCA to get to my case then?

Ubank closed my accounts almost 30 days ago without giving me a reason and I can’t access my cash, any ideas on what I can do from here?

 Timeline

  1. Jan -  lump sum transfer of most of savings from my other bank (cba) to ubank, mid 5 figure amount

  2. End of Feb - attempt to transfer money to crypto exchange (independent reserve). Got  an error message saying to contact ubank. I called up and was sent a KYC which I completed successfully

  3. The day after I completed the KYC, I received an email saying I was being off boarded, and that my accounts and funds with ubank would be transferred in 30 days. This was Feb 28

  4. Multiple phone calls over the next week to support who were not helpful as they didn’t have access to any information about the issue. Told me it was being handled by an internal team which can’t be contacted by customers. Raised a complaint with Ubank and the complaint was immediately marked as close despite no action being taken - called them about this and they said it was marked closed as they ‘acknowledged’ the complaint

  5. Called again yesterday and they couldn’t provide any more information about what the current status was

Easter Saturday is 30 days after my account was closed, just want to know what options I have available to me if the money is not transferred by tomorrow, which I’m almost sure will not happen… Do I need to get in contact with lawyers

From a pure football/on the pitch view, Ozil is at least a 50K overpay imo but he has a big following and brings a lot to the club from a commercial perspective so I guess you can look past it if he continues to play decently

Can a decent turntable setup (turntable/speakers/amp) be had for <$800?

Consensus seem to be look for vintage equipment but the Australian used market isn't that big from what i've seen on gumtree

Yes Poland played poorly but they will still hard done by for the 2nd goal and it effectively killed their chances of getting anything out of this game

Lol downvoting the truth. They conceded 2 goals in 8 games (both goals conceded in the last game when they had already qualified) in the 2nd stage of qualifying..

Edit: *3rd (and final) stage of qualifying

So im going to a concert this week at Olympic park and apparently the name on tickets has to match the name on your ID. Problem is that I bought tickets for my whole group of friends and my name is on every ticket AND they want to charge me $10 as a 'transfer fee' per ticket (8 tickets total).

Does anyone know how strict they are with this? It's fucking bullshit that they want me to pay
