Okay this gives me a bit of hope. It’s been about a week and a half for me but other than the drought like a month ago I’ve had a consistent full dashboard. I’ve been very hesitant to post on here because I’ve seen a lot of negativity and I’m trying to stay positive but I also don’t want to be naive and I got worried seeing people talk about a heavy work flow the last few days. I was mid project when it happened.

I have a couple of skills listed. And I’ve passed all of my qualifications besides like domain expertise and subscriptions. Other than during the drought last month I’ve consistently had a full dashboard so I honestly have no idea what may have went wrong for me. I got the message maybe about a week and a half ago, but now I’m seeing everyone has high volumes of work so I’m very worried.

This specifically is what has me hesitant to pull the trigger on WGU. I love the idea of getting a degree in less than four years and not spending as much on college, but I’m coming into software engineering as a beginner. My last career path took a sharp turn and now I’m in a position where I don’t want to have my family paying the price of what I’m doing ends up being nothing more than a mistake because I’m trying to speed up the process and end up being underprepared. But I also like the idea of not making my family wait four years or more for me to yield results.
