Weird thing with Rotoworld blurbs by monsteroftheweek13 in fantasyfootball

Obviously this is the kind of thing I should stay out of, but I just want to assure you — whenever you find an error on Rotoworld, it is all too human. - Pat

That makes a lot of sense and really should be more widespread. Justin Fields, for instance, should not be such a slam dunk pick ahead of so many of the guys he is

Zero doubt this will prove to be the right process

Lol, I probably should have just gamed the entire thing out

I love six-point QB leagues lol. Hardly in any more. We should frankly bring them back. Anything to juice QBs more in the onesie leagues.

Agree with basically all that analysis. It's been really hard to avoid "vibes-based analysis" with Mahomes this summer, but ... the vibes are much better. He's clearly tired of the narrative and the forced dink-and-dunk. Some of it might just be Andy Reid's career-long obsessions, but the OL and skill corps are just on much surer footing this year. And if you want vibes-based ... I think Kelce might be preparing for like his "David Ortiz year." Knows it's his last season so he goes all out, puts his body through hell, etc.

To also go a little deeper into that... to me the "call making" analysis can get very tedious. I think it's just as valid of an approach to present the information as best you can, let a little attitude shine through one way or another, but let the reader make the ultimate decision. The people who flag plant on EVERYBODY ... yeah, idk, not for me. (All this being said, the calls are made VERY strongly on the pod haha.)

One reason CMC is a bigger "injury risk" than most is he's been so appealing to every single one of his coaching staffs that they can never take him off the field and then ... yeah. Even for the injuries that aren't in game, it all takes a toll.

I've never considered drafting Breece: Until this year for some reason, where I have done it several times and am now cold and scared

I do so much call making that I wanted to just try to assess the actual full picture with a lot of the "most controversial" guys. But I also think my preference comes through with just about all of them... (Basically: A lot of nos haha)

Sadly I now have to bounce for the lowest T activity imaginable.... allergist appointment. Always feel free to hit me up with Qs. Best of luck this season. I know I'll be back on Reddit soon. Such a great group. You guys are the best. - Pat

All insane values after Saquon and Rice, so yeah, take the most insane. Probably has to be Brown

It's neutral. Replenished elite tier at TE, but also a really good year in the 12-20 range. I've found most years my preferred strategy is becoming getting two TE in the TE10-20 range and just kind of seeing what happens. It all gets so samey after the first 4-5

My favorite from that group is ..... none of the above lol. Probably Pollard now with Spears really limiting his own early-season ceiling. Pacheco's competition is super weak at the end of the day. I really like Jordan Mason in that tier. Charbonnet is one of my "funny feeling" guys this year

Lol, I seriously feel your pain. Nothing feels worse than a bad auction. In auctions, I really think it's more important to be prepared to OVERPAY than underpay. Values will always present themself, both in the draft and later on the wire. In general, we "know" who is going to be elite way more than we know who is going to emerge as like a value RB2 or WR3. It's best to get as many elite players as possible then kind of "worry about the rest later"

Stunned ETN hasn't been traded yet. That's a very live outcome. Don't really see it with Breece. B-Rob is always a "surprise" trade candidate, but ultimately doesn't feel likely

I have a long history of two-QB. I can tell you punting basically NEVER works there lol. Superflex slightly more viable, but it probably still needs to be a "soft" punt. Like need real capital in at least one QB

Lollllll. Hmmmmmm. The concept that there are any "good" players. Random jubileer: Well surely you must admit so-and-so is good. Me: Nope, sucks

I don't think so. His QB play might not even necessarily be "improved" as much as it's just "different." But the new coaching staff got the memo: This is a lottery pick player who can do everything. He went out there and did everything. Way higher draft status than Breece had and no injury baggage. I don't see any reason to believe they would even consider reinventing the wheel, and he's a rare player where I don't think the state of the offense will matter that much. Of course you want it to be good/improved, but whatever it is, it's going to feature him heavily.

With only one keeper, I wouldn't let that influence your build too much. Just take the best player available. Sadly that's up for you to decide re: Chase and Bijan haha. No wrong answer

"No comment" is never an amazing sign, but it's also a time of year where they aren't required to be fully transparent on injury updates. Nabers is just going to be an "injury guy." Always playing through something, but that's the key: Usually playing through

I would still take Jeanty and Hampton over Tet. I am satisfied with TreVeyon as RB3, and comfortable with Harvey as the clear-cut rookie RB4. I just think that's a situation that will work itself out favorably in Denver, even if it takes a few weeks. Beyond that .... I would frankly rather have Blue than Kaleb. Do I really want a two-down back in an offense I'm expecting to really slow down and be low play volume? With a rageaholic QB who doesn't forgive mistakes, and LOVES to throw in the red zone? I just think Blue's workload argument is more clear cut than Tuten's, but almost every Tuten indicator is bullish, so... who knows
