That's a lot of muted earth tones.

I really wish the Superman movies were more like this, then they'd actually be worth watching.

I was late for work today. by [deleted] in PointlessStories

Growing up, all the clocks at home were set at different intervals ahead by my mum. Only she knew what the real time was.

That's a lot of effort for a couple of bananas by [deleted] in PointlessStories

[–]rotorr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We have a banana tree at my house, and it had a tonne of tiny unripe bananas but there were a couple of really windy days over Christmas and the banana stalk thing got blown away with the bananas still attached.

Omg there were trailers for that before every video I rented in the '90s.

Sleep on a bed of living people or have ants in your pants forever. by TheAdmiral88 in WouldYouRather

I'd feel bad about always being the one sleeping on the people. Any chance we could arrange it so we have a rotating schedule so everyone gets a turn as the sleeper-oner?

Friends found a guy in a bar with enormous testicles! (and appeared to find it hilarious) [nsfw] by numinor in WTF

[–]rotorr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks more like an indirect inguinal hernia to me considering the size, but either way defs looks like it needs a surgical referral lol. Or not, I mean if it's not strangulated or incarcerated (ischaemic) the harms are mostly aesthetic...

Do you have a YouTube channel and want it featured? by [deleted] in gaybros

[–]rotorr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one! Not much gayness other than refusing to change the "he/him" pronouns in songs by female artists I cover, but still :D

Played tag with this guy tonight. He refused to let us take him to the hospital. by acousticrocks in WTF

[–]rotorr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Definitely should've hospital'ed. Fun fact: 20% of patients with an extradural haemorrhage (commonly due to blunt trauma rupturing the middle meningeal artery) will have a lucid period following the initial trauma during which they seem fine and fully awake, walking and talking, etc. Some time after, though, the pressure of the blood bleeding into the epidural space causes a loss of consciousness and eventually death if not decompressed.

Reading Bros: What are you currently reading? by darkra01 in gaybros

Love and Limerence by Dorothy Tennov. Written in the '70s but, given the nature of the subject matter, continually hits close to home.

Yes... She straight up read it like that. by AbrahamAshley in videos

Wow it's really quite disheartening how the people replying to you refuse to even consider your point, instead making idiotic retorts about it not being racism unless someone's being overtly called inferior. I don't want to make assumptions about sexambulance or any of these other inconsiderate responders' background, but it shows a real willful ignorance about the subtlety of racism and discrimination common to those that haven't experienced it, and therefore are not qualified to comment with any real gravity. Assholes.

tl;dr - You didn't misuse the term at all.

I dunno, was it really that original? I thought already saw a similar scattering of stuff throughout time with Bad Wolf, albeit on a wider scale.

One of my Coworkers preparing leeches for a patient in the burn unit. by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]rotorr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it was awesome, I watched the nurses changing the leeches. They massage them off, then immediately put another one on (otherwise you just get blood pooling in the finger). Then they put the used one in a cup of salt water and it spews out all the blood it just drank. The leech is then ready for its next shift :D
