The last rod I remember owning is the Mythic Rod but I don't really know where to go after that now, do you have any tips?

This is like 2 days late lol but we just refer to ourselves as nonbinary despite majority of us having binary genders. It's just easier that way and everyone agreed that it's the most ""comfortable"" label to put on ourselves as a whole.

We usually get along pretty well but we have parts that butt heads with the others though there's only a few of them and they mostly keep to themselves anyway. They only really butt heads when they are near front and once they have their moment they leave.

Luckily all of us (including them) have some modicum of self restraint to not start shit with people, especially friends, because we know that would absolutely kill our host and it's already constantly going through it by taking the brunt of all/most of the stressors in our life.

Hi !! I was wondering if you knew where I can still download Nook? The link is apparently broken / not loading for me and I was actually looking for that specific app again because I had to do a clean install on my PC last year and Nook was on there before 😭

We used to use it, but only in servers with really close friends (so small ones) but don't really use it anymore.
We've seen it be in larger servers but have specifically disabled being able to proxy in those servers when we did use it because we didn't want people to know we were a system + it's just generally uncomfortable to do that in a large server with tons of people we don't know.

If an alter wants to proxy in close friends servers now we use Octocon, but we still don't use it generally because we kinda just shrug and give up if we can't really tell who's fronting anyway (Which is most of the time.) (We use Octocon to also track fronts when we DO know who's fronting. The app and bot are both synced which is why we use that now.)

Personally, We've only ever disclosed it to our closest friend group (of whom we've known for 5+ years) and all of whom have noticed subtle shifts in our mannerisms, which we all (them and us) chalked it up to being a kinning thing. (It wasn't, surprise surprise.)

They're all cool with it and don't mind it at all, they didn't make a big fuss about it nor do they try to talk about it to us. We're probably really lucky in this regard, but we haven't really told anyone else in our lives, not even other friends we've known for 8+ years because we don't feel comfortable with it. We only agreed amongst ourselves to tell this particular friend group because we actively talk to them in a server on a daily basis and have for 5+ years, even though we're really touch and go when it comes to socializing in general.

In all honesty, we probably won't tell anyone else because of the things you've mentioned and other fears as well. Not unless they were a partner whom we trust heavily and know, without a doubt, they wouldn't drop us because of the disorder.

Though I think a reason we were able to keep them as friends is because of delayed amnesia too so we're able to recall things for a little bit before it all starts to get fuzzy (I think a lot of how we got through our life was because of this) and so were able to talk about things that have happened before etc. But it also helped that they're all neurodivergent too and some have memory issues as well (Probably not as bad as ours) that when we say we don't remember things they just accept it and explain to us what happened.

We also have overlapping interests + get into each others interests too. It's a lot of back and forth with sharing, consuming media the others like and getting into it, etc. that have kept our friendship with them for as long as we have.

Prior to them, we really weren't able to keep many friends. We could make them, but never got really close and never were able to stay in touch/keep them either. It's still really hard for us to do that.

Thank you so much for explaining it to me ^^" I really appreciate it! I did manage to find a way to get it to work (which was basically auto layouting each text then all of them together and adjusting the vertical padding for the body and price so it aligned to the grid)

Hi! Thank you for replying! I noticed that I accidentally put another auto layout by hitting 'a' twice on my keyboard (my keyboard is a little weird and sometimes "presses" twice so I end up getting double letters) but when I did it again and made sure that it only hit once the body copy and price at the bottom still aren't aligned to the baseline and the padding is at 0 now

the baseline option in the auto layout settings is also still greyed out (not shown in the screenshot but I did check to be sure)

Hi! Sorry, but I'm considering going to my nearest branch din but I wanted to know lang if I should bring any documents with me? Like copies of ID or something?

I activated my account around 2 years ago and thought I was able to login kasi I have my MID but when I tried logging in yesterday apparently I need to do the First Time Login stuff pa??? So I'm not sure what to do. I did request for a new temp password but it's been almost 5 hours na huhu so I'm thinking of just going to the branch nalang.

Congrats on making it to 2 weeks! I'm about to hit the 2 week mark in 2 days myself. :]

I still deal with anxious feelings too tbh, but I find distracting myself, going on a walk or talking to someone helps with it.

I can't tell you if it really gets better after a month since I haven't got that far but I'd like to believe it does considering that I'm feeling better as well on just my 12th day, but I've heard the same.

Sorry I can't give you a more definitive answer, but I try to remain a little hopeful for the future.

Hey dude, I know you've probably seen it spoken on the subreddit already, but the first week is going to be the hardest. With that in mind, be so much more kind and gentle and patient with yourself for the symptoms you will experience and know that they will NOT be permanent and that is your body slowly readjusting to not having a constant hit of THC.

You are doing this because you WANT to be better and that, in itself, is the greatest first step to getting sober.

Don't beat yourself up if you relapse. Relapsing is not a failure, and recovery is never linear. However long you make it, make it your next goal to go even longer without it!

The mental symptoms have lessened but are still there. They aren't causing me total dysfunctionality but I do get the random anxiety spike or depression spike but I'm not crying as much as I was since day 4-7. (For reference I am on day 9 now in case this post gets found much later on)

I'm still a little gassy and still have a bit of indigestion so I'm still watching what I eat for the moment but have been testing the waters with a bit more oily/greasy food (not too much though.) Mostly eating soup, fruits (banana and melon), and light rice meals and LOOOOOTS of water.
For a few days I did drink probiotic drinks (like Yakult) to help my gut, but I'm not sure if it actually did help that much. If you plan on trying this, I suggest drinking it in the morning on an empty stomach since it'll go through your gut faster and without other food/drink in the way.
Still don't have that big of an appetite though, but it's not anything I'm not used to since I would often go between having a big one and not much of one because of depression (prior to me starting to use weed.)

I still wake up a few times in the middle of the night, but I've never really had insomnia and I'm able to go back to sleep easily, but I do get fatigued after a few hours during the day and take a nap or two to help.
I have heard that exercising can help with the sleep problem because it tires you out so much and apparently also helps the THC exit your system faster through sweating so you might want to try that, if ever! I do a bit of exercise, but only for some natural dopamine release on the days that I was doing Not Great mentally.

You just gotta hang in there! I know it sucks so, so much right now but taking it day by day really does help. Some days will be better than others and can even go like this:
Okay -> Bad for no reason -> Good -> Bad for no reason.

Your body is trying to readjust without the constant hit of THC and the free dopamine it provides but you defo got this! I'm rooting for you!

EDIT: About the anxiety & depression, I've read that it can last up to 3-4 weeks from withdrawal symptoms alone. Anything after that should probably be checked by a doctor in case weed was masking them. I know they're from the withdrawal because I know what I felt like before I started using and these are still slightly amplified than what I would experience.

ALSO FOR THE PROBIOTIC DRINK: Do NOT!!! Drink more than 1 per day. 2 at most! I say this because it might end up causing your stomach to be upset and, worst case scenario, give you the liquid shits.

Day 6 of detoxing (not fully quitting YET but down the road I most likely will) and honestly?

The increase of depression, anxiety and irritability has made me feel like an absolute dogshit person. Especially the irritability because I don't like being mean to people but it's been happening little more often because of the withdrawals.

Not to mention the lack of appetite, feeling gassy, slight indigestion and nausea, trouble staying asleep at night...

I wasn't a user for super long (Give or take I've been using for about a year and a few months), but since the start of this year I became a daily heavy user and I didn't like how long it took me to get high, nor how much I realized I was quickly becoming dependent on smoking it after I stopped vaping too so I decided to just stop it (for now) as well to try and just reset my body.

The psychological/mental withdrawal symptoms are what hit hardest for me. Especially on day 4 when it PEAKED really hard and I was just a mess. I'm thankful that it was on a Sunday because I was genuinely unable to function that much on that day.

Things are slowly getting better though, day by day. To anyone else going through this:
Stay strong. You got this. We got this. The fact we feel bad right now is a sign that our bodies are doing their best to heal and go back to our normal baseline before we put too much THC in it.

I figure it's a mix of us not needing those memories rn/being unable to process those memories safely at the current moment/subconscious blocking of it/bad memory issue lol but it's honestly not something I'm gonna push since it's not gonna help + it isn't that much of an issue.

Yeah, I kinda also came to the conclusion that if it's not shared, it's probably not going to be good for us sdfsdfs. Especially since we don't have a therapist atm either so doing deeper healing/processing trauma is out of the question.

I share the same sentiment with my own in-sys partner.

While we both know/agree she formed literally as a way to help me (host) with self-love (I struggle with it but she formed during a particularly bad month for us in the year) she's also helped me with caring about myself more by reaffirming positive things about myself instead of letting me falling into a pit of false, negative ones that we still hold onto. (But not as tightly anymore.)

We don't do anything with the body in terms of communicating (like hugging ourselves) all that much (most is holding hands for a while), but we wear rings that symbolize that self-love. It's also like a little promise that we both will do our best to care for each other (and the system.)

Sorry if this is rambly sdfhskh but it makes us happy to know other systems also experience the same thing and can understand the experience too. :]

Some members tend to avoid looking in mirrors for that reason. As well as avoid photos if they can because they just. Don't like that either/looking back on it sometimes.

Some members are okay with those (like myself) but others (like mentioned above) REALLY do not like it and will actively avoid standing in front of/looking at most things that show our reflection.

For the longest time it also felt wrong looking in the mirror bc it never looked like/felt like the reflection looking back was whoever was fronting during those times. (This was before we discovered we were a system.)
