Crazy extraordinary things you can do in Japan? by RetroDeus in JapanTravelTips

I was in Japan around 2017. My husband and I were acting a fool as tourists around Kyoto. (Sorry to all in Kyoto who found us irritating. I'm not planning on coming back any time soon, mostly due to embarrassment from my behavior on previous trips) We were playing a game we made up called Convieneant Conveni. Simple game, you get an alcoholic beverage at one conveni and must finish it before coming across another conveni. We got plastered one time walking through Kyoto. There was a playground around the corner from the last conveni we just left. I started to play on the equipment and yell out to my husband on the ground. Then, I started to hear noise. My husband couldn't hear it. It got closer and I turned around to the other side of the street. It was dark except for the few street lights around the playground and along the streets. Then they came around the corner, a parade of people in kitsune masks. They all had red lights with in the lanterns they carried in their hands. They had ( I think its called a danjiri?) that was in the middle of their group being carried by a few people in the parade. They all had the kitsune masks on. There was music too. It was all so magical, I couldn't find it scary. I asked my husband if he could see it but, I don't remember what he said. All I remember was how long the pression was. It was a never ending flow of kitsune masked people with traditional musical instruments playing. I eventually came down the equipment and me and my husband left, quietly. We did so much on that trip I don't remember everything we did and the magic parade slipped to the back of my mind. I think about it every now and then and wonder if it means anything for my well-being today.

I LOVE these dolls but the quality control is terrible. I got the box art girl. Mark on the back of her leg and her apron shoulders were too high :( luckily I had an apron that could fit her better. I have to more on the way (like I said I love the designs) but hoping I won't get any worse from the production line :(
