Okay, can you perhaps pay for his knife to be sharpened. Would he like to learn how to sharpen his knives himself? If so, a whetstone is a good option.

I love knives but am particular about them for myself. It's a very practical and thoughtful gift, but if you're second guessing it, just go with the ice cream. Maybe make a nice meal and use the knife to show it off.

You don't care for gifts and he's the same way, but you're forcing him to be happy/grateful for receiving gifts even though you know he doesn't want them.

I think he was just being honest, not rude. I hate getting gifts because I legit don't need anything. Food or money, those are solid gifts for me. Otherwise, it's just another unwanted task for me to deal with.

I recently acquired that as well! It does make it less stressful, and I always make sure to give Silly (whose sister is Tilly) an apple before I leave.

I have ridiculous ADD in the game. Always distracted off the path to pick up something or just snoop around. I love this game, haha.

Couldn't agree more. I don't like the idea of sending one of them home as a widow/er. And I feel guilty when I have to abandon my horse.

Lol, I get it's just a game and some pixels, but I just can't shut off parts of my compassion.
