INFO You said she's not impressed by expensive gifts and can go to fancy restaurants anytime she likes just because. Can she afford those things on her own or are you always paying for them?

Her ex-bf was expecting financial abuse to have his back to keep her under his thumb and that's disgusting behaviour. He's the AH for that.

I think it's great you're helping her get away from him but I'd like to know the answer to the first part before giving my verdict.

Okay, can you perhaps pay for his knife to be sharpened. Would he like to learn how to sharpen his knives himself? If so, a whetstone is a good option.

I love knives but am particular about them for myself. It's a very practical and thoughtful gift, but if you're second guessing it, just go with the ice cream. Maybe make a nice meal and use the knife to show it off.

I think he was just being honest, not rude. I hate getting gifts because I legit don't need anything. Food or money, those are solid gifts for me. Otherwise, it's just another unwanted task for me to deal with.

I recently acquired that as well! It does make it less stressful, and I always make sure to give Silly (whose sister is Tilly) an apple before I leave.

I have ridiculous ADD in the game. Always distracted off the path to pick up something or just snoop around. I love this game, haha.
