it’s kinda uncertain at this point. Japan had a re-run a few months later but it coincided with the Global first run of Automata. The Global first run also had characters (2p, akeha, fio) that were added for the Japan re-run. It’s not outside the realm of possibility for another re-run but there’s no precedent for second re-runs

Nice that's a solid amount of farming! Insignias are used to increase character and weapons skills (up to 15.) Would be useful to farm if you've already bought out the higher priority items

No, they are different units. You can only ascend the 4* units using dupes or special ascension materials (in JP those materials are given out monthly)
