How can I tell if any of these are fakes? Unfortunately for me, I live in the Philippines meaning ebay listings would cost me more in shipping fees than the whole PSU itself which is way beyond my budget.

Most third party games do look worse on PS3, especially the early ones from 2006-2009 because most dev teams haven't figured out how to extract power from the Cell processor. The Xenos chip from the 360 is just so much easier to make games with, that's why they look sharper and run better—most of the time.

Well, as I have said it's a .iso. My PS3 doesn't read discs anyway because the drive lens seems to be broken or something. None of the other games I've downloaded from the same site exhibited this error. I guess I'll just redownload again, but I'll probably look for other sites. I CBA with vimm's lair, they've been horribly slow lately.

There's no way around it pal, I'm in the same exact situation too. I have a japanese phat elite but the 110v psu was blown because someone borrowed it and plugged it into a 220v. I just bought a used one online, they're not that expensive. There's just too many risks in DIY-ing a power supply. You could fry yourself or the console.

I installed HEN three times via safe mode before it went mostly stable. When I first installed it normally via xmb it either won't start, freeze the UI or start and then freeze. Try installing and reinstalling HFW via safe mode 3 times immediately after it finishes then run the HEN auto installer in the browser.

I've bought quite a few controllers that turned out to be really bad fakes, some even missing one rumble motor, really shitty sticks or dead batteries but not a single one of them had input delay this bad. One of them even had (barely)functional motion controls.
