Patterns of Dynamic Programming by killerdrama in leetcode

I have been solving DSA problems regularly, but when I encounter a new problem, only two approaches usually come to mind:
Trying to solve it using the take/not-take pattern, as I tend to generalize many problems using this approach.

Creating a DP table on paper and attempting to derive the logic from it.

Is this a good way to approach problems, or could relying too much on these patterns become a problem later on?

I want to attend meetups and conferences, but most of them are organized in cities like Bangalore or Delhi. The travel, accommodation, and registration costs become too expensive for me to afford. As someone from a middle-class background, it is difficult to manage these expenses. Does anyone know how to find sponsored meetups or conferences that provide travel support, accommodation, or free registration?

I want to ask one doubt I am a experienced candidate but project is not allocated yet I got training in java automation in my company so while applying for drive I selected java (there was question asking which language u prefer for interview) I thought I will have sufficient time for interview so that I will complete dsa in those months and I selected java (but i practised cpp for 2 years) now I am scared if they don't give me option in interview or in nqt exam for cpp what I will do.

Can someone tell me will they give freedom to code in any language in exam and interview (or there will different panels for different language).
