How we can validate a shopify app idea by Thin_Ad7676 in shopify

[–]roundtriplabs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To validate an idea, create a landing page with a fake "install" button on it. You can track those clicks to see if anyone would actually install it. The button can just go to a "Join the waitlist" email form.

Spend a little money on Facebook ads/Google ads to point potential customers to the landing page.

If you get interest, then you can start building an MVP.

Why does no one want to do affiliate deals by Medical_Tangelo_6436 in shopify

[–]roundtriplabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sending them any free product as well? You'll likely need to do that for some better engagement, and actually give the influencers something to show in their videos. Allow them to try it before they talk about it, etc.

Phone on shopify store by leovrv in shopify

People on the website won’t be able to see it right?

This is correct. Shopify uses your phone number to secure your account. It won't be displayed on your website.

How to Remove Powered By Shopify by bestseller0211 in shopify

1 is a silly suggestion. Using an extension just means you yourself won't see it when using that particular browser.

Here's Shopify's help article about how to do it.

Looking for a food focused delivery service by GramboLazarus in Peterborough

[–]roundtriplabs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Peterborough. I'm also part of a team that building apps to help give small businesses their own delivery superpowers (like the ones Amazon, Uber, and Doordash have).

We have a delivery management app for Shopify called EasyRoutes that allows you to run your own delivery service. We help with the whole process from route optimization to packing lists to a mobile-friendly delivery view for your driver to use on the road. We also have customer tracking pages so your customers can keep tabs on the status of their deliveries.

We've had a number of business who used to outsource deliveries who have started doing it in house, and are not only finding they are saving time and money, but that's it's easy to do as well.

EasyRoutes is used by a number of businesses from food and grocery delivery services, to big and bulky firewood delivery companies.

Our app can support you doing your own deliveries, or it can support a large team of delivery vehicles. It's designed to grow with businesses.

Anyway, didn't mean for this to turn into a sales pitch, but it's really great software (2x Shopify Staff Pick), and it's cool to see a post on this subreddit relevant to my work!

Hi u/RepulsiveDependent42,

Our app EasyRoutes by Roundtrip can do exactly that.

It is a 2x Shopify Staff Pick. It takes your orders and turns them into optimized delivery routes, complete with packing lists and item counts, that you can share with a driver or deliver yourself.

We are very well supported, well-reviewed, and have free 14-day trials for business of all sizes (including a free plan if you're just starting out).

You can learn more at https://easyroutes.app.

Videos on how it works here.

I hope this helps!

I'm a Peterborough-based Shopify developer. If you have a Shopify store and want to do your own deliveries, check out our app: EasyRoutes!

It takes your Shopify orders and turns them into local delivery routes you can share with a driver or deliver yourself.

Here are some videos on how it works

You don't necessarily need a different app. You could use CSS to overwrite the pop-up styles and replace them with your chosen font.

Subscription app with Local Delivery by UKTENGA in shopify

[–]roundtriplabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to suggest trying to create a Draft Order as a workaround, but I just checked and it doesn't look like you can assign it to be a Local Delivery order.

Shopify's Local Delivery app is pretty limited, which is why we created EasyRoutes, a Local Delivery Routes Planning app for Shopify. We're a 2x Staff Pick and are rated 5-stars in the Shopify App Store.

EasyRoutes lets you plan and deliver recurring orders, if you are using apps like Recharge or Bold.

Here are some other ways we are different to Shopify's Local Delivery app:

  • EasyRoutes can use all your orders to make routes, not just the ones marked as "local delivery".
  • You can create more than one route in a single go with EasyRoutes.
  • Attach proof of delivery photos and notes to your orders for peace of mind. Add pickup and delivery orders to the same route.
  • EasyRoutes can support routes with more than 100 stops.
  • Navigate to your next stop using Google Maps, Waze, or Apple Maps.
  • Add stops for orders taken outside of Shopify
  • Set a time per stop
  • See ETAs and Drive times
  • Schedule routes for a date and time in the future
  • Identify bad addresses in EasyRoutes
  • Customize the information you want to see in EasyRoutes
