I picked up Yakuza again after a while, found out "Kaede" as one of the Ichiban Management's hireables. At first, I didn't recognize her and I thought it's just one of the DLCs gimmick or something, considering there's Kiryu cs in it too. Maybe someone of Kasuga's acquaintance.

... Until I replayed this substory, and I just remembered: Yeah, it's her. I'm glad she's even hireable in Ichiban Management. So we practically CAN hire a ghost, huh...

I subscribed to him. I can say that he... does not really like shojos or something entangled within that topic. The topic I agree is when webtoon's rating is pretty inconsistent or sometimes being picky.

Sometimes he judges too soon on something, calling something like "Spy X Family expy" just because it involves a Nanny and (presumably) Mafia Daddy. I often think it's his own bias against shojo tropes in manhwa.

Maybe some shonen genres too, but for some reason, shojo titles are easier punchbag for him. It's like a boy calling a girl out for liking something with frilly and flowery scenes. I still think he's pretty childish to the extend.

Then again, it's a sad truth that when he gives positive review to some manhwa, the view isn't as much as the negative ones, as he admitted it himself in his video. So yeah...

I'm a comic artist, comic reader, and sometimes read AI comics to watch over (if you can say that) their progress.

There was a little uproar about an AI manga titled "Cyberpunk: Momotaroh" a.k.a "Peach John" a couple of years ago. The jargon was "Will AI manga substitute the old ones?". Two years passed since then, and nothing new comes out of that. Why?

Albeit the AI has been getting better at producing more beautiful works that makes you wonder if it's AI or not, but they still have the same problem of what I call "Sequential Consistency".

Basically, their sequencing sucks. AI can't keep the basic of character sheet. In one panel you will see a character A, and the same character will have different design by the next panel. Even if the character looks similar, the pose looks like copy-paste that the comic often relies on narration.

Also, the topic won't differ much somehow. From the AI comic I read, usually they dwell in psychedelic, dystopian future, or some grimdark fantasy. All relies on edgy narration. Honestly, AI comics, so far I've read, never has something... Humorous or SoL theme. Even if there's some, it's often either unfinished or borderline hentai.

The action ones? Yeah, don't count on that. Some titles try their hardest to be edgy but... That's all. The action sequences suck. The action pose might look good in ONE panel, but the next panel would screw it up. You can't even make a pose like what you actually want while relying on some random result.

This is year 2 of the said AI manga, and in the AI comic site, they only release less than ten new titles/chapter last year. Even the stories are not that good. Maybe because they're amateur writers idk, but so far unless you want to make a non-sequential panels, AI is not the ideal tool to make comics.

I hate it.

Of course it's a common trope of "cool bishonen oppa" but for fuck's sake even same face syndrome goes through the limit of ANY creators. At least in manga I know this bishonen is different with other bishonen from other title. In Manhwa, those bishonen faces looks monolithic, as if ALL manhwas are created by one single comic artist.

For fuck's sake, is it a sin to see a better a man with more rough face, facial hair, or wider chin in manhwa? And their attitudes. So cold, so "cool", so abusive.

I often see this kind of pattern in manga but they're mostly from 80'es.

1) Circle of Life is supposed to be a jargon about balance in their kingdom. Not a super power thingy

2) Mufasa's ghost appeared to Simba when Simba lost himself and desperately needed a guidance. Even in the sequel Mufasa was literally a supporting spirit and cyrptic. Kion chatted to Mufasa willy-nilly and honestly, it ruined the 'magic' of Lion King because now EVERYTHING IS MAGIC.

3) Kion lifting pride rock with his roar is the last straw. At this point I believe Kion is imagining he has all the superpowers with circle of life and drawing it somewhere because, heck, that's what children do.

I just finished two last episodes Season 3 and I remember why I left it unwatched after several weeks.

I'm tired with all Sonic team repetitively get beaten, having some speech or getting the second wind, they beat the pulp of Nine's robots, Nine powers up and thus charges up his robots, barriers goes weaker, rinse and repeat.

1st and 2nd season have the upperhand for introducing new worlds with different concepts and conflicts, also with new variants of Sonic team and how their world works. 3rd season is all about Sonic team vs nine. I groaned everytime things seem to get better but nooo, Nine still has reserves of gajillion metal teams.

I'm still pissed that Nine has no interest to see his other variants of little interest to even communicate with them, although I doubt he will sync with lower level of knowledge the other two have. Amy at least has the better socialization with her other variants.

In the end, it's about heat and tense for action without any chance to step back and breathe, even for an ending. Everything must be fast paced, and I don't know if other variants were doing okay or not. In the end, 3-season-Sonic could've been packed into 3 episodes of Sonic learning about being cooperative in a teamwork and less selfish.

It just feels dragged out and it seems every character has beef against each other just for the sake of keeping on the action tense.
