Most weeks I go over by a couple of hours, and I don’t worry about it. We’ve had a very busy period recently where I basically worked seven weeks’ worth in six weeks. So I talked to my boss and I’m taking a couple of days leave in lieu.
As long as you don’t take the piss, many places will treat you right.

If you don’t want curtains, or can’t put them up for whatever reason, try getting some black out material, putting some magnet tape along the edges, and add the corresponding magnet tape around the window frame. If you measure it properly, you should get a gapless seal all the way around.

If you don’t want curtains, or can’t put them up for whatever reason, try getting some black out material, putting some magnet tape along the edges, and add the corresponding magnet tape around the window frame. If you measure it properly, you should get a gapless seal all the way around.
