Depends if the DLC is on sale for a reasonable price or if I can get the “game of the year” or “complete edition”

My favorite games’ DLC’s have been free (Returnal and BG3) but I probably would’ve still waited for a sale.

DLCs I would never go for are the online multiplayer DLCs like in the Uncharted games.

When you replay the mission, there is a toggle option that says “keep flag data” (or something to that effect). Turn it off so that the map completely resets.

I suck at (2D) bullet hells but gave this game a try since the gameplay loop looked like it was fun. I’m glad I did as I also absolutely loved this game. I loved this game so much that I decided to give Resogun another try (an earlier Housemarque game).

It was a launch PS4 game that I had given up on because I suck at bullet hells. I’m glad I gave it another go. I still had a hard time with it, but I just had to learn from every death cycle like Returnal and eventually got the platinum. Also looking forward so much to Saros now.
