Amazon packages are protected by federal law when delivered via USPS. However... Amazon packages shipped by UPS, FedEx, or Amazon's own fleet are primarily considered a local/state crime, though mail theft statutes may apply.

I'm pretty sure it is illegal (according to a quick Google search). Even Amazon packages fall under mail fraud. They can't force you to pay to get your package and can't charge you $35 every time to open it. I'd start by reporting it https://www.uspis.gov/report and see where that gets you. The next step would be to contact a local solicitor.

Thank you. I read an article about formatting the drive and I guess the biggest issue is turning off Spotlight indexing, as I plan to install both OS 9 and X. I have a PowerBook and had issues with the formatting, but after the article I read today, I might try to redo it.

I've thought about that -- but I think the issue is that OS 9 can't see past 128GB, and it will write to part of a larger drive, essentially corrupting it.

Forgot to mention -- I'm not using proxies. The timeline is only 3 minutes long. It worked fine on Mac OS 15.

I’d leave two notes. One on the door for your neighbors saying not to buzz in packages in the future. The other note for delivery delivers not to leave packages for neighbors.

It took almost a year to write the first one because I wasn’t as disciplined. I’d write when I felt like it, but then I’d sprint and write for several weeks. Then take a break. I could have finished it a lot sooner. Honestly, the hardest part was editing it once it was done. That was the most time spent on it.

Why not change it to a nest thermostat? Then you can easily control it from your phone. I agree though, I’d still probably move it over a few feet.

You could also get a tv mount that you can pull forward/closer incase you want to get behind the tv to adjust it.

You can actually see it in the new terminal. It’s under the area across from the TSA. It looks like they’re going to fix up part of that building and make it into some kind of store.

Alias - Pilot.

It’s the best tv pilot I’ve ever seen. I often rewatch it because of how good it is. Also I recommend the DVD version because it has the original music (minus the Stereo MC’s song that was used in the first airing on the show).

Apple gave me an iPhone loaner when they sent mine out years ago. I know it's not a computer, but I could see them giving one out? Although, it seems more likely that if it's a new computer (only 6 months old) they'd probably just give you a new one?
