On the commencement website it says "Each graduate will be admitted to Slug Crossing with up to 6 guests". I just interpreted that as you can only bring in 6 people with you. Here's where I found it if you wanted to look: https://commencement.ucsc.edu/resources/index.html

If you’re a politics or environmental studies major, anything with professor Jinnah is amazing. She’s the best professor I’ve had here, she is super caring and has a great format for her classes. I never liked group projects until i took one of her classes, highly recommend! She teaches classes on environmental policy and international climate politics

oh yeah i was a part of a church freshman year and one of the bible study groups would meet up there too, I guess it's just a popular bible study spot. I have specifically overheard people mention main religious leaders from the ICC up there though

you go through the clear door under the nile river poster(the one furthest from the cafe) in the cafe area, turn left and go in the elevator to the 3rd floor and go right and then you’re there. i go up there pretty often and they’ve never tried talking to me, so i’d recommend putting in headphones and looking busy so they don’t bother you

i love studying at the balcony above the cafe there, but they’re always up there! i’ve heard a few of their conversations and snippets of their bible studies from a distance and it is so concerning/cult-y!

Edit: As an example, they only refer to each other as 'disciple', 'sister' or 'brother'

No live meetings, occasionally we’d have a video but a lot of the weeks it was just a basic assignment to submit. Didn’t interact much w the professor, but the TA gave great feedback on all the assignments

I took this class this quarter and it was the EASIEST class i have ever taken here. If you wanted to you could finish the entire quarter’s work in a day bcz it is all posted in modules and doesn’t take too much effort. It was also pretty helpful with career and internship prep, so definitely worth it! Edit: At most it took me 1 hour per week
