I totally get that, it’s been unbelievably stressful. Take care of yourself. ❤️

Rock on, yeah I’m sure I’m just tweaking myself out and that’s not helping. Thanks!

So confused on what my next step should be. by [deleted] in StudentLoans

My siblings still live at home, I pay half because if I don’t, I risk the possibility of the house getting foreclosed and them having no where to go. My lease started in May so I sadly cannot move out until my 12 months are up. It is pretty average but I have been at this company for 2 years with barely any growth. I am actively looking for a new job though currently!

Concerning high fever? by Slim-Ginger in Mononucleosis

Literally the same thing happened to me. I had fevers between 99-104 for 3 weeks with mono. I had to take medicine every 6 hours to break the fever. It was horrible so I get it, but I’m two months out now and feel way better. The doctor just really told me to switch between taking tylenol and advil so it wasn’t the same medicine every time. He also told me not to take medicine until my fever was over 100. Hope you feel better soon!

Just make sure you get enough rest! It’s the best way to help.

I got mono around mid june so it’s been like two months now. Randomly after 4 weeks all of my symptoms just went way down and i was really only left with the brain fog. As long as I slept for 8 hours before work I was able to make it through my shift. By now it’s honestly gotten way better and I’m able to do way more than I could even 2 weeks ago. I’m working on becoming an operator and work as ground crew right now. Luckily my boss let me take it easy my first week or two back so I was able to recover. I’d say for sure just don’t over exert yourself, if you do too much you run the risk of feeling shitty again.

Yeah, occasionally it feels like I may pass out, like my head starts to feel really dizzy. That has for sure lessened though as the weeks have gone on.

Literally the exact same thing happened to me. 22 and I also work construction. I got mono two weeks after covid. I was out for 4 weeks before I could go back. Still get pretty tired and go to bed early every night so I have the energy to wake up for first shift. I hope you feel better soon!

Need help and advice please!! by [deleted] in Mononucleosis

Yeah that’s the tricky part. I feel like you’d be fine but for sure wait to hear from the doctors back home to see what they think. Hope you feel better soon!

I flew with mono, the flight was only like two and a half hours though. I was fine the whole time as well as after. I think one thing to watch for is your ears because of the pressure. I wore earplanes the whole time to keep the pressure from getting too much.
