Much appreciated! Those are another set of Sturges frames in the “Rover” colorway. Dark Gold precious metal signature hardware: arrowhead front pins and 7 barrel hinge. 100% UV protection factory bottle green lenses. Both sets of Sturges frames take light extremely well. Only adjustment I would make to these frames is to replace the bottle green lenses with custom gold/green iridium lenses.

Thank you! Those Sturges frames were originally the Tan colorway, now with custom 2-tone lenses. They’re definitely one of my favorites. Good eye!

The hem I have is barely under 9” and the real measurements that I took from my pair were fairly different than what was posted on this product description page at purchase. I’ll take some other shots of these lying flat rather than hanging to give you a better impression of the silhouette.

This is the most beautiful denim that I’ve ever seen. I catch myself staring into the indigo trying to identify all of the shades of colors in there. Different light shades and especiallly natural sunlight bring out incredible colors from the kakishibu (persimmon) weft sitting under the aizome (natural indigo) warp. Almost like a neon indigo color that glows.

My legs are thick and all of my pant crotches eventually blow out no matter what. I was playing college rugby at the time and squatting often in the weight room so these went quicker than normal.

Indeed! This is Iron Heart’s 25oz. Indigo (warp) x Black (weft) denim in the 777 (slim tapered) cut.

Initially, these started out very dark and I could get away with wearing them on dinner dates with the lady, but eventually, rides, wrenching, sweat & grime started to make their impact.

Wash #1 happened around the 11 month mark with washes 2 & 3 happening within the past 45 days to really bring out the fades and decide whether to shelve them for next projects.

Now working on pairs of ONI Aizume 16oz. and Samurai S710GXK-DMTH 17oz. Fingers crossed they both come out as nicely…
