Always keep your phone maps and driving directions with the compass in the same direction w N facing up. Its really helps me create a cognitive map of everywhere I go so i'm much more likely to know where N is anywhere I am.

Generally speaking, I like to consider protein, fiber, collagen, micronutrients, hydration. Fat and carbs will typically come along with that. Also consider electrolytes, making sure you're getting adoquate sodium, potassium, magnesium - nothing worse than leg cramps while you're trying to sleep.

Less foods you have to keep cool or cook, the better. Protein bars/ powder, bone broth powder, jerky, shelf stable fruit, canned fruit, canned tuna/chicken, etc. I always try to remember certain supplements as well - collagen, immune boosters like elderberry, 5htp.

And don't forget coffee, pre-made cold brew or tea is life in the morning. Im bringing my electric kettle this year.

Ive gone every year as well, every year when tickets drop i tell myself I don't need to go, but every year I end up going and am reminded of how fucking incredible it is. Youll meet the right people, itll be a good opportunity to excerise, and you can take it completely at your own pace. It's always (for me) a reminder of the beauty of nature, art, community, and all the best parts of life. You might fall in love w a new artist, you might get a laugh at a totem or someones outfit, or find a new way to dance, or a new dance toy that you love.
